Last week medDARE was sponsoring one of the biggest events in digital healthcare – Intelligent Health AI 2021. This year’s conference took place at the historic Beurs van Berlage in central Amsterdam.
Even with COVID restrictions, the organizers managed to pull off an on-site event which gathered 30+ sponsors and 1000 visitors coming to attend the 20+ talks and dozens workshops dedicated to AI R&D in the Healthcare domain. Online versions also attracted some 200’000 people from 160+ countries.
Our team was on site to meet with peers in the industry in person and discuss with them the latest trends in medical software development.
medDARE’s co-founder Bastiaan Elling says: “We’re glad to be here in person and finally meet face-to-face with some of this fast-growing community of clinicians, medtech engineers and startup founders who are on the front row of the rise of AI in the medical sector. It is a fast growing market, filled with exciting possibilities and stimulating projects which can revolutionize today’s medical sector.
Many of the people we had the chance to meet with emphasized the importance of high-quality enriched data to feed their AI and it furthers my belief that there is a strong need for an intermediary between hospitals and medtech companies; for someone to take charge of the quality and security of the data so that researchers can focus on developing their product and go faster to the market.”
medDARE B.V. provides datasets of various modalities from different specialisations with and without annotation. We have access to a wide range of secured and compliant data: CT scans, MRIs, X-Rays, mammographies, dental cone-beam CTs, ECG/EKGs, EEGs, endoscopies, etc.
